The Natural Park of the Ebro delta<\/h2>\n

\"Parc<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ebro Delta<\/strong>\u00a0is the largest wetland area of Catalonia. Is the largest inhabited water of the western Mediterranean, after the bitter (French Regional Park), and the second of Spain, after the Do\u00f1ana National Park.<\/p>\n

At the request of Deltebre, the Generalitat of Catalonia created by a decree of 1983, the\u00a0Natural Park of the Ebro Delta<\/strong>, where it should be noted that the Ebro delta is the first wetland in Catalonia with the emphasis on an international scale, recognized by the most specialized agencies. Already in 1962 was included in the classification of wetlands of international concern Euro developed by the Bureau MAR with the category A (priority).<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Natural Park of the Ebro Delta<\/strong>\u00a0has a total area of 7736 hectares. Up gaps in 011as, the Canal Vell, the Garxal, the Alfacar, the Platjola, the Bull Run and Encanyissada, the islands of Buda, Sant Antoni i Sapinya, the peninsulas of the Punta de la Ba\u00f1a (the Alfaques) and Fangar , Ullals of the Baltasar and the mountains of Casablanca.<\/p>\n

In the landscape of the delta lands are totally flat which give it a distinctive appearance and unique in Catalonia. On the inside we found the extensive rice fields, changing with the seasons (winter earthy, flooded with water to the spring, green in summer). On the coast are one of the most attractive lake scenery of the Mediterranean, bordered by large ponds canyissars and jonqueres. At the periphery, soles cirialeres with saline, marine and rushes faces the long and deserted sandy beaches with dunes and vegetation samples, well adapted in the middle.<\/p>\n

Casa de Fusta<\/h2>\n

\"Casa\"Casa<\/p>\n

Construction flagship in the Delta, currently is a facility of the\u00a0<\/span>Natural Park<\/strong>\u00a0which hosts an information center and a museum ornithological showing a complete collection of spices much more representative of wildlife delta.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Eco-museu<\/h2>\n

Its main function is to\u00a0introduce newcomers to the peculiar world of the Delta<\/strong>, especially in the functioning of natural and human aspects of its ecosystem. In this way, the different elements that make up what are representations of landscapes, from traditional activities and architecture of the Delta.
\nThe Ecomuseum helps to understand and interpret a complex reality in which the profound humanization and the weight of economic activity contrasts with the existence of some spaces that are protected for their important natural values.<\/p>\n

Museum of Terres de l’Ebre<\/h2>\n

\"Museu<\/p>\n

The Museum of Terres de l’Ebre is located in the City Park of Amposta in the building of the old schools Miquel Granell, the work of modernist architect Ramon Salas.
\nIn a didactic manner the Museum explains three aspects of the district’s Montsia, unique in all of Catalonia, which are essential to know the nature, rice and archeology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Olles<\/h2>\n

\"Les<\/p>\n

It is\u00a0the smallest gap in the Delta<\/strong>\u00a0with 54 ha. His whole area of protection but tea has 415. The most common access is via road from the ampoule to the sandy beach.
\nIf we are interested in seabirds and waders can cross the canal and follow another km. until reaching Goler\u00f3 to, the old mouth of the Ebro River in the state of a drainage channel.

The\u00a0Fangar<\/h2>\n

The Fangar is a\u00a0peninsula<\/strong>\u00a0of sand of 410 ha. NO geared to SE.<\/p>\n

It is crossed by a trail of compacted sand about 3’5 or 4 km by where you can move or walk to the veranda, the lighthouse or the northern tip of the peninsula.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Canal Vell<\/h2>\n

The Canal Vell is\u00a0the biggest loophole of hemidelta north or left<\/strong>\u00a0with an area of 235 ha.<\/p>\n

The current access is limited to a observatory to be private as it comes from a diversion of the road Deltebre to Riumar.<\/p>\n

Mouth of the river Ebro<\/h2>\n

\"Desenvocadura<\/p>\n

The area of the\u00a0mouth of the Ebro<\/strong>\u00a0buy the protected nature of Garxal (280 ha), the Isle of Sant Antoni (170 ha) and the Isle of Buddha (1231 ha).<\/p>\n

The Isle of Buda and the Isle of Sant Antoni have restricted the passage alone and therefore can be entered with permission. The one area visitable, is the left edge of the river to reach the Garxal.<\/p>\n

River of \u00a0Mitjorn<\/h2>\n

\"Riu<\/p>\n

The river is a\u00a0former Migjorn mouth of the Ebro River<\/strong>that runs along the island during the Buda 3.5 km running on the beach of the same name.<\/p>\n

The area is accessible by car from Sant Jaume D’Enveja.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Tancada<\/h2>\n

It has an area of 312 ha, limited by the E with the sea and the S with the Bay of Alfaques.<\/p>\n

Be visited from the path of Baladres, which is a paved road about 3 km along the lagoon to the east.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Banya<\/h2>\n

It has an area of 2,500 ha. with the bar Trabucador. The Punta of Banya is\u00a0Parcial Natural Reserve<\/strong>. Their access is restricted except between July 15 and Sept. 15, without leaving the beach you can enter without a vehicle.<\/p>\n

The encanyissada<\/h2>\n

\"L'encanyissada<\/p>\n

With an area of 1,192 ha.\u00a0The gap is largest in the Delta<\/strong>. There is the possibility of giving back in across the pond, with stretches of paved road and no other asphalt. The route will vary between 12 and 18 km. depending if it is to make the turn in the pan or large whole lacuna.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Ullals<\/h2>\n

They have a total area of 10 ha. There are around 40, 15 of which are within the delimitaci\u00f3i of Parc and the rest are privately owned. It is the only freshwater environment around the Delta. We found\u00a0several areas of rare amphibians in the Delta and one of the few places where water lilies are so spontaneous<\/strong>\u00a0in Catalonia .<\/p>\n
