Description
The route of the Templars:
Will visit several mountain villages of the lands of the Ebro towards Rasquera village near the river, with remains of Paleolithic, the Roman and Saracen, also known for its handicrafts and palm wood primarily for its pies (pumpkin), then we will go to Miravet (Muràbit) located south of the banks and to the right of the Ebro, which suggests that it was an Iberian settlement, cross the river and as transport for older ferries (which still uses wood and the current of the river to move) or the village of Mora de Ebro. To see Miravet making ceramics and pottery as this is the village which provides all the peoples of shore from the mouth to Zaragoza. We continue our route this time and visitors without leaving Miravet magnificent castle which reveals that it could be a settlement, Iberian and Roman, dated 1153 and given to the Templars by Ramon Berenguer IV.
